Tahoe Fire Update
THE AREA OF 300 HOMES that was threatened yesterday when the fire jumped a fire line were spared as the flames were successfully re-directed. Yesterday the blaze moved so quickly that two firefighters were forced to deploy the emergency shelters firefighters carry to protect themselves as a last resort. They managed to walk away uninjured.
