THERE ARE GUN AUCTIONS EVERY WEEK in one place or another.  But there is one tomorrow, June 5, in Orange, California at Little John’s Auction Service that is of special interest.  More than 400 guns from the Stembridge/Petersen collection will be going on the block.  Stembridge Gun Rental is the leading armorer for the major Hollywood movie and television studios and these guns were all used by some legendary actors in their most famous roles.

Included will be the guns used by John Wayne in True Grit, his Winchester from Stagecoach, Steve McQueen in The Magnificent Seven, Tom Selleck’s Colt auto from Magnum PI, and the guns used by the “Cartwrights” on Bonanza.
